Maybe there should be a bard type class?

Yeah, I'm thinking that the classes available for everypony will be: Adventurer (warrior) Thief (rogue) and Musician (Bard)

Your original three all species classes were the warrior-type, the ranger-type, and the rogue-type, weren't they? Anyway, how about we call the first bard class 'The Bard of pink' or 'Pink bard', or something?

Ooh, I like that... I'm thinking making Pinkie power part of a prestige class, just musician for base, but offer two branching paths, Octavian and Pink.

So, what are the settler and engineer classes going to be like?

engineer will work with machines, like basically making powered armor. Not giant space marine suits, but like, hydraulic leg braces and the like to increase speed, or kicking strength. Basically, they can build things that give them different bonuses for different situations. Their role is to adapt. The Settler is a survivalist class. They are heavy defenders, capable of taking a lot of punishment, and they can farm, bringing a steady supply of food and alchemy ingredients. There will, of course, be more, but that's the basic deal.

Got any classes for the buffalo, yet?

I haven't done buffalo yet. I'm going to make the Griffons, Buffalo, and Zebras tonight, and I should get a few classes done. But classes take much longer than races, they have to be carefully balanced, and well thought out so there isn't TOO much overlap. But I think either the Buffalo or the Zebra will get a berserker style class.

Hey this concept sounds really cool and I like the idea. I always thought that a weapon wielding unicorn would be it's own class because of all the interesting things you can do with telekinesis and a weapon. This would push on your 2 unique classes per race however, and I can see something similar being implemented with feats and the adventurer class.

No, it would simply be a warrior unicorn is my guess, though maybe it would become a prestiege class at one point.

The three base classes are available to all. As such, they get different skills and abilities depending on which race is using them.
