Within Ponyville, a small simple town, a grand event is currently being prepared to unfold, an event that could change the very future of Equestria as we know it. No, its not some grand festival, major battle(at least we hope not), or signing of some importent document.

At the very hall that was to play host to Princess Celestia for the Summer Sun Celebration, would be the meeting location for herself and the one who had banished her in the first place, Nightmare Moon. A meeting, of what hopefully will be peace and the end of hostilities between the two if all goes well.

The great hall has been set up, a table, half golden with a half sun emblem, the other some dark wook, and a emblem of the moon, the entire room had been decorated accordingly, and with some temporary rearrangement magic, a great door was present on each side, so that the two Alicorns didn' thave to meet till they were in the now Magic Shielded and Proofed room. The Wards placed around the interior also insuring that unicorn and all but the most focused of Alicorn magic would be negated while inside.

Sitting at the head of the table was a single Earth Pony. He had a blue coat, brown shaggy mane and tail, a cutie mark of a silver pair of scales addorned his flanks. He was the colt of the Mare Lawyer Beatrice "Beat The" Odds, and the Stallion Referee Fair Game. He was a high ranking member of the Mediators Guild(not really a guild, but it sounded better then Union to them), and currently he was shaking in his hooves.

Here he was, about to sit in as Mediator of the talks between 2 of the most powerful Alicorns in all of Equestria(well, all Alicorns were powerful, but there were so few of them), and have to find the strength to keep them BOTH in check. He wasn't looking forward to this. He sat and waited for the charges to arrive.

((OOC: Alright, this is a Private RP for Nightmare Moon and Princess Celestia, as well as Even Odds, my Earth Pony Character, it is up to them if they bring any advisors with them, but be in mind that the main conversation shall be between the two Alicorns, will give ground rules to them once they are both ready))

[Nightmare Moon]

Nightmare Moon teleported into Ponyville's town square, at the near the grand pavilion where the meeting was to take place, along with a very nervous looking blue earth pony by the name of Won Gristham (a lawyer she'd hired to advise her on the finer points of Equestrian law).

Accompanied by her lawyer, she walked through her door and entered the pavilion.

[Princess Celestia]

Teleporting near to the perimeter o the town, Celestia strode into their designated area, calmly waiting to begin.

As they entered, Even froze up, sitting in a statue state of what looked to be calm, doing his best to stay proffesional, once they had both taken there spots he began, having just a bit of trouble starting.
"A-a-alright, L-lets lay d-down the g-ground rules..." he takes a deep calming breath, before continuing with his job, "The ground rules, no magic, no crossing to the other ponies side unless both agree upon it in a non-agressive fashion, and please try to keep to the facts and not break down into name calling or exagerations if we can," he nodded lightly upon saying that, "I know my authority doesn't normaly have any relivance to both of you, but while in here under the agreement, I am in charge and if I say something, you both will listen, but I am not to interfear with opinions or the facts, only prevent you both from going against them or getting the facts as we know them incorrect, if you both understand, please say so in your opening comments, now... whoever wants to go first may..." he looked between the two, knowing this could get ugly.

[Princess Celestia]

"I understand the rules. Now... Dear Nightmare, shall we get started with our little talk?"

[Nightmare Moon]

"Yes. Let us bring things into the light, shall We? Tell Us, why did you allow everypony to forget your sister during her years of imprisonment?"

[Princess Celestia]

"Because they didn't need to know... Ponies are creatures built on the magic of friendship. If they knew of our fight, it would tear the world apart." Celestia smiles sadly.

[Nightmare Moon]

"So, you admit that you abused your position to hide nasty truths about yourself from public view." Nightmare Moon shakes her head in mock disappointment. "Well, while you may be able to rationalize to yourself your actions on that front, you might find Our next question a little harder on your conscience. What happened to Our worshippers? We have met no descendants or remnants of Our ancient cult. What did you do to those ponies that followed Us?"

[Princess Celestia]

"They believed that you had died, or left Equestria... Their cult was destined for a fall. A few of them kept believing for a short while, but even they gave up eventually... I never had anything to do with them."
